Odartey Lamptey tips Jordan Ayew for greater feats in the EPL

Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey has heaped praises on Crystal Palace and Black Stars foward Jordan Ayew for his splendid performance in the English Premier League, tipping him to explode further.

Jordan has currently equaled Anthony Yeboah’s record of scoring 24 goals in the EPL and looks likely to set a new one with the league set to resume.

The Ghana striker is currently the leading top scorer for Crystal Palace before the EPL was suspended due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

Odartey believes the young Ayew has a lot more to offer if he gets the opportunity to play for any of the top clubs in the EPL.

Speaking on Accra based Starr FM,the former U-17 world cup winner said, “I know what Jordan can do.”

“If he gets the opportunity to join any of the top-notch teams in the English Premier League, I bet you the whole world will see the quality he is made of.

“I knew him when he was very young and even at that age when he plays, you could see the greatness in him.

“It’s just a matter of time because the best is even yet to come from him.”

The 24-year-old black Stars forward has been the most talked about player at the Selhurts Park this season with sumptuous solo goals.

Jordan Ayew in the suspended 2019/2020 season has played 28 games and has scored 8 goals with Manchester United and Arsenal part of his victims.
