Madonna began trending on Twitter after shared a video of her son, David Banda, dancing to Michael Jackson’s song “They Don’t Care About Us.”

The homicide of George Floyd has elicited reactions from humans of all walks of life, together with pop icon Madonna. The singer has been a focal point of dialog after sharing her perplexing “Quarantine Diaries” on Instagram, and on Thursday, Madonna posted a three-and-a-half-minute video of her son, David Banda, dancing in tribute to Floyd. “As news of George Floyds brutal murder travels around the world my son David Dances to honor and pay tribute to George and His Family and all Acts of Racism and Discrimination that happen on a daily basis in America,” Madonna wrote in a caption to the clip. She ended her message with the hashtags “#davidbanda #JusticeforGeorgeFloyd #MichaelJackson.”
