The much-loved cop comedy, which follows the misadventures of a team of detectives in the fictional 99th Precinct of the New York City Police Department in Brooklyn, is landing on the streaming platform this Saturday.

The sixth season, which originally aired in January last year, sees the detectives – including the talented Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz), Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero), Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) and Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) – seek to expose new Commissioner John Kelly for illegally wiretapping the population by staging an arrest for a fake kidnapping.

Netflix announced the news back in January, saying on Twitter: “You, for the last year: OK BUT WHAT ABOUT B99 s6?!

“Us, finally: March 28.”

It comes just days after E4 began airing Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 – which we can expect to get on Netflix sometime next year.

Either way, there’s plenty of B99 content to keep fans occupied on whichever platform you choose – which is amazing considering the bleak place the show found itself in a couple of years ago.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was pulled back from the brink of death in 2018 when NBC picked up the series for a sixth season just a day after Fox cancelled it.

Since, it’s come on leaps and bounds, being renewed for a seventh and even eighth season.

This is because of licensing, something Netflix has tried to explain to fans before with a cheeky tweet:
