Life during this pandemic coupled with the lockdown has been tough on many relationships and even marriages. A great stressor in these times could be as a result of prolonged periods of close contact which intensifies as the days go by because, the negative behaviors and dissatisfaction of couples are brought to light as the moments go by.
The pandemic has reshaped our personal lives how much more our relationships and marriages. This pandemic has affected our relationships as it has forced us to live closer together with some people and further apart from others.
Weighing the transition from the times of the pandemic to the economy coming back to ‘normal’, as the pandemic is losing its hold on the world, there are some actions performed that will bounce back to is as the consequences of these actions are grave.
Everyday is another story,everyday is another trouble so so wahala. Who will take the blame? Mr or Mrs William?
Madam William is not ready to make her husband leave the house without a fight. She practically complains about everything and anything. She doesn’t cook knowing very well her husband doesn’t eat out and doesn’t enjoy stale food. She uses her job as an excuse as she she leaves the house immediately the first rooster crows and return late when the city is asleep. She nags anytime her husband confronts her. She is forced to work from home as the lockdowm doesn’t permit her to go to work and she is left with no other choice than to work from home. She once called her husband insensitive when he playfully said now they would have time for each other. She argued that, the pandemic is having a ripple effect on the economy and this calls for more work.
Mr William not being comfortable in his matrimonial home decides to go and find solace elsewhere. In his quest to find happiness and peace of mind, he meets this charming queen who is ready to be his side chick no matter what it takes. Fortunately for Mr William and unfortunately for Mrs William, this sidechic performs the matrimonial duties soo well that Mr William finds comfort when he is with his new found queen. Unknowing to Mr William, his able secretary has been eyeing the position of his sidechic for far too long and is bent on being her boss’ sidechic come what may. She is bent on destroying the relationship between Mr William and his side chick just to occupy the position. She decides to stop the frequent visitation of the sidechic to Mr William’s office by giving flimsy excuses like he is in a serious meeting with the board of directors.
There are a thousand and one ladies who are willing to be the sidechic of Mr William. Ofcourse, which lady doesn’t want to occupy that envious position?
It then dawns on him that, his performance in the office has taken a U-turn. The returns are just not coming in as it used to even though there is a pandemic,he doesn’t make profit nor even break- even. It’s always abnormal loses.
It then dawns on him that, his side chic has drained him emotionally, psychologically, physically and financially.
