After the event, the African Dancehall King posted on Facebook, and bragged about his victory. SM fans then reacted by showering praises on their king. Shatta Wale also gave out a car to a loyal SM fan to express his gratitude to the movement that supported him.

Well, shatta wale may have won by popular vote or opinion. But there is actually no winner. Ghana Music Industry was the biggest winner. While Stonebwoy was better in the music settings, Shatta wale was also better at stage performances. So, congratulations to the two artists for putting up such a great show.

Wale and his SM crew entered the stage in a spectacular fashion. They did this amidst tight security.

Stonebwoy later appeared in the scene with his BHIM Nation camp all dressed to kill. While 1GAD was entering the arena, the SM boss decided to eat some food on stage. Audiences listened to the Ghana National Anthem in the background as the clash of the titans rocked on.

Shatta Wale was the first performer to mount the stage. And he did defend his kingship tagline by entertaining fans with his hilarious dancing moves.

Before the lyrical clash, Wale and Stonebwoy greeted each other using their elbows. The two artists also sprayed some cash on stage to show their wealth. When Wale sprayed stonebwoy with 1 GHS notes, BHIM replied to him by sprinkling 5 GHS notes.

Stonebwoy also lit up the stage with his Putuu freestyle and dance. But he couldn’t outshine his rival.

Ras Kukuu, the VGMA Reggae-Dancehall Artiste of the Year, also had a great performance.

Sp, What’s the Asaase Sound clash all about?

The event was organized by Asaase Radio; it’s a brand new FM radio station in Accra.

Dubbed “Clash 2 Crush COVID-19” the Asaase Soundclash show was meant to unite Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, and also to raise coronavirus awareness in Ghana.
