Pataapa is really having a hard time making it in 2020. Apart from his diminishing music career, the One Corner crooner is rumored to be battling for his breath. Is Covid-19 trying to take the hero away from us?
A few days ago (10th August), news emerged that pataapa was poisoned again (that’s for the second time). The big question is why would anyone want to poison Patapaa, a noisy entertainer who is talented at infecting people with his comic character? Well, one man’s meat is another man’s poison.
From one perspective, Pataapa may look like an underground artist who is yet to make the most out of his short music career. However, the fact that Pataapa ever experienced an attempt on his life means that there are a couple of adversaries who would do anything to stop Pataapa’s shine.
Nevertheless, a man of truth never walks alone. Truth will always triumph over falsehood. Hopefully, Patapaa will recover fully from his afflictions and come back stronger than ever before.
What Really Happened to Pataapa?
Patapaa was captured in green attire lying almost lifeless in an unknown hospital facility. And that was when news went viral that the Hiplife act was poisoned and got critically ill. However, as it stands right now, Pataapa’s food poisoning allegation is far from the truth.
From all indications, Pataapa’s management have rubbished all the near-death rumors about their artist. A press release from the musician’s camp threw light on the Pa2Pa leader’s condition.
All doubts have been cleared now. Pataapa was not actually poisoned the second time. “The public is hereby informed that the release (rumors) is false and misleading. The artist was hospitalised but has nothing to do with food poisoning. Patapaa Amisty is doing fine and recovering speedily from a minor illness.”, Pa2Pa management confirmed.
In conclusion, what still remains true is that Pataapa was poisoned in November 2019 when he requested for an energy drink to boost his performance in a Tarkwa show.
Even though he recovered from his first food poisoning incident, there are still question marks on Pataapa’s level of fitness.
