Most often than not, we hear drink water even if you aren’t thirsty to boost the system and make the system function properly.
We feel thirsty after munching a full meal and even feel for water during the meal.
Drinking water immediately after eating can cause problems during digestion.
Did you know that after eating that sumptuous meal loaded with the right proportion of nutrients, the body needs to absorb the protein? Drinking water affects the way the body absorbs the protein. So you see, drinking water immediately after eating is a no no way.

Drinking water after 30 minutes of munching your meal is healthier than gulping down the water immediately you are done. Having a peppery meal requires some amount of water intake to lessen the pain but this should be done in moderation(sips).

Let’s look at a summary of the digestion process. From the mouth to the oesophagus then to the stomach. After the stomach, then the intestine. The liquid produced in the stomach helps in the digestion process. So you see? Drinking water will affect the process.

If you drink water immediately after eating food, it can change the temperature of your body and affect the temperature needed to digest food.
Drinking water immediately after meals hinders digestion. The water affects the digestive process in that, it leaves a lot of food behind in the stomach. Which forms glucose in the stomach and turns into fat. With this process, you also start the process of making non-essential insulin which can affect the blood sugar level and cause problems like diabetes.
